Trudie

British Racing School graduates were out in force at Bangor-On-Dee on Saturday as Breedsbreeze made an assured debut over fences.

The six year old gelding was lead up by Trudie Smith who was Head girl on Course 213 in December 2007. The horse was ridden by Sam Thomas and recent Advanced Apprenticeship Graduate Daniel Skelton was representing Trainer Paul Nicholls at the racecourse.

Jim Lewis was on hand to welcome the winner in, adorned in his beloved Aston Villa colours. Breedsbreeze won the Tolworth Hurdle last year lead up by fellow graduate Emma Stevens and definitely has the potential to go even further over the larger obstacles. Jim will no doubt be dreaming about Cheltenham success next Spring and unlike Villa Breedsbreeze should be able to cope with a step up in class in the months ahead.
