BRS Forges Links with Ebony Riding Club
The British Racing School have cemented it's links with Ebony Horse Club based in central London
The BRS have a lot to thank Ebony Horse Club for, their latest student Ricky Alleyne came care of the fantastic club in the heart of Brixton that offers under privileged children from the area a chance to try out horseriding. As well as riding Ricky was one of many lucky enough to have been brought down to the school for one of the Taster Days.
Ricky was hooked on his first visit to The British Racing School at 13 years of age and has since been back on 3 subsequent taster days before signing up at the age of 16 for the 9 Week Foundation Course. Ricky is not the first from this central London riding club to have made an impression on the school. Marco Perera graduated from course 198 and has since completed his NVQ 2 with Derby winning trainer Marcus Tregonning.
Rickys ambition is to become a jump jockey and hopes that once he leaves the school he will be based with a trainer in either Newmarket or a little nearer home in Epsom.
