Do the BRS have the next Damien Rice?
The British Racing School is currently harbouring a potential star, and not just on the track!
Liverpool Lad Kyle Crosbie is at the end of his 9 week Foundation Course at The British Racing School but prior to his interview Kyle had never ridden a horse, instead his spare time was spent writing songs and performing.
Kyle , 22, was a Joiner in Liverpool for 6 years with a keen interest in racing but in his spare time he would tour the pubs and clubs of Liverpool singing a combination of covers and his own songs. Since coming to the racing school Kyle has learnt to ride and care for racehorses and has absolutely loved the experience
'I was in the betting shop watching the racing and a regular said to me "why don't you try and do that?"
"I can't do that!" I said but he came back with, "you're the right size why don't you just go and give it a try?"
So I looked up The British Racing School and it's been an amazing experience. The course is fantastic and the instructors have been brilliant. I'm sad to leave but am looking forward to going to Peter Grayson's'
Kyle is one of the most popular of his group and it was no surprise when he was picked to be head lad. He is focused, hard working and a mature student whose riding improves daily. We all wish him luck and hope to see him back at the School in the near future.
