Swedish Students Jan 2008

Monday 21st January saw the arrival of the Swedish Students who are to join Foundation Course 215. For the past few years the British Racing School have hosted a number of Swedish students on the Foundation Course.

The students complete exactly the same elements of the Foundation Course as their British counterparts including all the exams and instruction, which is conducted in English, not their native Swedish language. There is vigorous competition for places on the course with British Racing School staff conducting interviews in Sweden of potential candidates for the course.

Past students have always been excellent ambassadors for their country and contribute immensely to the course. They have also fielded some very successful football teams in the Annual Stable Lads and Lasses Football competition held at Newmarket.

Past Swedish students have moved on with much success to British trainers in the racing industry.
