The British Racing School enjoyed a fabulous ladies evening on Tuesday to celebrate style.

The evening was a thank you to all our British Racing School conference and events clients and a chance to showcase our meeting rooms and a selection of our canapés. The night was an evening of indulgence for the ladies led by top personal stylist Ruth Scully who talked through 16 looks, worn by 4 different models. The looks were handpicked by Ruth from fantastic local boutiques; Anna's of Bury St Edmunds, Six Whiting Street of Bury St Edmunds, Bowns of Cambridge and Chattertons of Cambridge.

The models had their hair done by mobile hairdresser Julie Hughes, who also demonstrated different evening hair styles on her own model.

The fabulous boutiques brought rails of clothing for the ladies to peruse and for the food lovers, Newmarket Deli provided some delicious cheeses which were matched by Corney and Barrow with some very special wines. Arbonne Cosmetics provided some lovely last minute shopping opportunities and many of the boutiques secured pre-Christmas sales.

"It was a very enjoyable evening, when I first moved to East Anglia I had no idea of the fabulous labels carried by our local Boutiques, the selection is fantastic and I now realise there is no need for me to jet down to London when I want to go clothes shopping!" Gemma Waterhouse, Finance Director of The British Racing School, "I wanted to put on the evening to remind people that when they book a conference with us, they are doing a good thing. Every penny of the proceeds made on our Conference & Events side is gifted to the Charity and used to help young people get a good start in life by providing them with a career in horseracing. We have so many amazing success stories, many of which are featured on Youtube, and it was nice to remind our clients about the good they do by being loyal customers"
