The British Racing School has supported the East Anglian Pony Racing Series for the fourth year running. The series has been very exciting and the BRS are proud to have trained all those that rode in the BRS sponsored 148cm final.

The final was held at Fakenham Racecourse on a wet and windy day in April, but this didn't dampen the riders enthusiasm. George Saunders had some trouble at the start when a slightly tricky Chiumbo tried to recreate the Vodkatini starting technique by planted herself and refusing to start but with his impressive horsemanship George managed to get her going and finished a respectable fifth having ridden very well. To the contrary, Tom Bellamy jumped off on Tricky Vicky like a scalded cat and romped home having led from the start. The young jockey is certainly his fathers son and we can be sure to see him on the racetrack in the future.

Well done to all the runners and riders in the East Anglian Point to Point series and to Paula Twinn for her time and effort in organising the series.
