BRS Students Support Dunwoody Challenge
Students at The British Racing School took some time out to support Richard Dunwoody in his latest challenge.
On 29th May 2009 Richard Dunwoody started a 1000 Mile Challenge to walk the same mile 1000 consecutive times (from the Bedford Lodge hotel in Newmarket up the Bury Road to a post half a mile away and back again) for a 1000 consecutive hours with the last mile up the home straight of Newmarket racecourse just before the Darley July Cup on 10th July 2009.
12 students had the treat of walking 2 miles with Richard in glorious sunshine for his 494th and 495th mile.
Michael Keady, one of the Senior Students on course 229 said "It was amazing, I really expected him to be so tired he wouldn't talk much but he talked to us the whole way and was brilliant at answering our questions"
Everyone at The British Racing School continue to wish Richard luck with the rest of the challenge.
