The British Racing School in conjunction with Newmarket Racecourse are running an Introduction to Pony Racing Day on Saturday 6th October 2012.

The morning will see Children attending sessions at the BRS learning about Pony Racing at our purpose built facility. In the afternoon, children and parents will be given free badges to Newmarket Races where the final of the Charles Owen Series Pony Racing Final is being held. This fantastic display of Pony Racing will take place before normal racing and our instructors will be on hand to guide you through the day, from the course walk to a behind the scenes tour of the racecourse facilities.

Pony Racing is available for 8 to 15 year olds, you do not need to own a pony or even be able to ride to come along and enjoy this taster day. We will have tacking up demonstrations, lessons on our simulators and fall training, followed by an exclusive behind the scenes afternoon at the races with the opportunity to see Pony Racing at its highest level.
