Two FLP Students to Visit Kentucky
Two of the Racehorse Care NVQ students (Ryan King and Shelley Birkett) will be part of a party of young people going to Lexington, Kentucky in October.
Because Newmarket is twinned with Lexington, this visit takes lace under the umbrella of the international Sister Cities programme. Ryan and Shelley have won their place on this exciting visit as a prize for their performance whilst taking part in their training at The British Racing School will be paying a proportion of their costs.
During the visit Ryan and Shelley will be staying with families in Lexington and will undergo training and ride out at the North American Racing Academy run by the legend, Chris McCarron. This is a fantastic opportunity which they will, without doubt, enjoy.
