Nigel Elwes



Nigel Elwes will hand over as chairman of the Trustees on 31st December, a position he has held since 2004 although he has been a Trustee for nearly 20 years.

He has played a central role in the development of the School over this time. His financial and commercial experience has been crucially important in steering the School's affairs and the developments of the facilities that have taken place during this time. This commitment and enthusiasm for all that the School does and hopes to achieve, has been a tremendous source of strength and support to the Management Team.

During this time Nigel has also showed similar commitment to the TBA and Racing Welfare where he was Chairman of both organisations. Racing has therefore much to thank him for and it was much deserved that he was awarded his CBE for his services to racing.

From everyone at the School, we therefore want to thank him for all that he has done and to wish both he and Carolyn every good wish for the future.
