The Racing Industry Course set to be a hit again
After the huge success of The Racing Industry Course last February, the British Racing School will be hosting the 2010 programme at their first class facilities in Newmarket.
This British Horseracing Authority course, sponsored by Weatherbys, covers the key aspects of the racing industry and seeks to attract delegates from middle management upwards, either those new to the industry or who are looking to broaden their knowledge and understanding of racing, in Britain and abroad.
Nick Cheyne, Client Relations Director at Weatherbys said, "Weatherbys are delighted to be supporting this racing industry course for the second year. It is a hugely important training course which provides a valuable and comprehensive insight to the Racing Industry."
The course, which will be held from the 1st to the 5th February 2010, will feature seminars, interactive sessions hosted by influential figures in the racing world, and visits to the Darley operation, Tattersalls and a top trainer's yard. It covers a wide range of topics from breeding, training and welfare through to the complexities of the funding of racing, racing's relationship with the media and integrity in the sport. The course will facilitate discussions on how the industry has, and will, sustain itself through the current recession, and on other key issues facing racing today.
Duncan Gregory, Operations Director at the British Racing School said, "This is a brilliant opportunity for anyone wanting to know more about the multi-faceted racing industry, it should have wide appeal. There is no other course like it for those who want, and need to know its intricacies and its issues. In a fast changing world it has got to be a 'must' for many in racing today."
The five day course is residential with all meals, accommodation and excursions are included.
