How did you hear about the BRS?
Word of mouth through people already working in the industry. I used to work weekends and school holidays for John Bridger.
How did the 9 week course help you?
BRS helped me with the horse care side of racing which is what you need as much as the riding skills to work in racing.
How did your riding career start?
I started riding in Arab races as soon as I was 16 and I rode in Point to Points last season, having 30 rides and2 winners. This was good experience especially the jumping and I have now obtaining my Category B Amateur Licence.
Career to date:
So far I have had 7 winners under Rules, 4 on the flat and 3 over hurdles
What does it take to be a jockey?
You have to want it, you can't go half hearted at it. You have to look to continue to improve all the time and stick at it, work hard and be dedicated.
