Pony Racing Camp
The British Racing School again hosted fantastic Pony Racing Camps in 2012. The camps were a great success and already 2013 camps are fully booked! To be booked onto the reserve list for 2013 Camps contact us at the details below.
Where: The British Racing School, Newmarket
When: 2 - 6 April and 6 - 10 August 2013
Who: Jockeys aged 11 to 15 years who are at least assessed as ready for Level 2 (you will need to have attended at least a level 1 at The BRS or NRC equivalent to be eligible and be assessed by an instructor as ready to move to level 2)
Details: A week long residential course where jockeys bring their own horses. The course will encompass levels 2 to Advanced, involve riding out everyday, simulator instruction, video review, trips to places of interest and other racing related sessions.
Cost: £350 including all jockey and pony accomodation. A £50 deposit is required to secure your place along with a completed application form.
What Next? Contact Clare Higgins for further details or an application form. There are 12 places available awarded on a first come first served basis. Places are not booked until the deposit of £50 is received. A reserve list will be compiled on the same basis.
