The British Racing School again hosting a Pony Racing Camp in August 2009. The camp was a great success and we planning to run another camp in Easter 2010! Make sure you check back for details of e-mail us to register your interest.

Where: The British Racing School, Newmarket

When: 6th - 10th April 2010 and 3rd - 7th August 2010

Who: Jockeys aged 11 to 15 years who are at least assessed as ready for Level 2 (you will need to have attended at least a level 1 at The BRS or NRC equivalent to be eligible and be assessed by an instructor as ready to move to level 2)

Details: A week long residential course where jockeys bring their own horses. The course will encompass levels 2 to Advanced, involve riding out everyday, simulator instruction, video review, trips to places of interest and other racing related sessions.

Cost: £300 including all jockey and pony accomodation. A £50 deposit is required to secure your place along with a completed application form.

What Next? Contact Clare Higgins for further details or an application form. There are 12 places available awarded on a first come first served basis. Places are not booked until the deposit of £50 is received. A reserve list will be compiled on the same basis.
