Training and Assessment is completely free to you for eligible learners studying towards qualifications.

After acceptance on to the Scheme an independent Skills Broker may make a one-off call to you. They may be aware of other training opportunities such as help for those who have English as a second language.

The Skills Broker can also talk to you about Wage Compensation for your learners if they need to take time away from their usual duties during their usual hours of work for assessment and training. However we intend to be as flexible as possible and minimize any time away from the place of work.

Wage compensation can be claimed by employers with under 50 employees, who do not have Investors In People accreditation and who have not had 30% of their staff on vocational training programmes within the last year. Wage compensation is only payable once your learner completes the qualification.
