Cara O'Reilly

Hi, I'm Cara the new Senior Trainee for Courses 220,220A and 221. At the moment I just look after one horse Drumochter aka Dippy. So far my favourite rides have been on Frileux Royal who I looked after for the first 5 weeks and Prince Dundee. Prince Dundee is quite new at the School and I have only ridden him once but hewas lovely on the rounds, it could changeon the straights!

On Monday our Advance left and we met our Beginners who I'm sure will settle into the Course.

Although it was sad to see the Advance elave, it means we get the more challenging horses. Monday mornings are always exciting as the horses are frisky and fresh as a few people found out this Monday! Diamond Josh for example decided to leave the all weather track and join his friends walking roundon the grass. Well sat to all jockeys!!

Tomorrow we start on the straights. Can't believe that we are finally there. It has all gone so quick. Most of us are looking forward to it but some are nervous. I'll let you know how it goes!

Liam Browne

Hello, my name is Liam Browne and I have been awarded the Senior Trainee position for Course Number 220.

The horses I have been looking after are McCracken and Free to Roam. Free to Roam is a big friendly giant who is very mellow whilst on the other hand McCracken is scared at any sound and his feed manger but he is the most softest racehorse you will find and the most dopyest.

My current favourite rides are Dalcross, Second Paige, Tanager and Lord Berniebouffant. I am loving the Senior Trainee position and am so happy that I got it.

When I leave the BRS I am hoping to become a jump jockey but if I can't become a jump jockey I will try to become a farrier.

Well that's some little things about me, thank you for reading my blog.
