Hello everyone. This pas week Course 221 have spent our last week on the round canter. Everyone really found it extremely helpful as our instructor Miss Snell was giving us the opportunity to ride freestyle out on the 50 acres, and towards the end of the week, allowed us to swap horses during second lot. This meant we all got experience riding a wide range of horses, which was very important due to the fact that we ahve now begun riding on the straight.

As for me, I'm still looking after Melmott who is a complete gentleman in the stable and when being ridden.

Next week I will letyou knowhow our first full week on the straight goes.

Cheers, David

This week is al ot better for everyone as the beginenrs have had chance to settle in. We started on the straight this week and it has gone really well for most of us yet a few people have had falls but nothing serious. Instead of mucking out Rosie I have been changed to Drumochter (Dippy) who is really clean so I am happy about that!

In my next blog I will keep yo updated on how it is going up the straight
