This week has gone really well on the straights for everyone and we are all really enjoying it. The last few days have been rally busy on the yard as we have all been getting the barn ready for the opening which was a huge success with a good turnout.

Friday was also good as our parents were able to watch us. This week I changed horses again as Hannah joined our group therefore I now muck out Bedevel instead of Dippy.

I can't believe we only have two more weeks left of the course! The past 7 weeks have gone so quickly and I have improved and learned so much. I have made some really good friends here as well and I hope to stay in touch with them when we leave.

Next week we find out where our job placements are so at the moment I am nervous about that and hoping the Director finds me a job that will be well suited. In my next blog I will tell you where I will be working and who for.

This last week has easily been everyone's favourite - our first full week on the straight canter. Everybody has improved dramatically ad we are all now riding more challenging horses than we were used to.

Friday also saw a big day for the School as it was the official opening of the new barn. All of our parents were invited to come and watch us ride out and then see the barn - many of which attended alongside Trustees of the School and many well known traines and owners. The day went veyr well, six of our Advanced Course 221 acted as 'tour guides' and showed all the visitors around the new barn.

We only have two weeks left now, it's hard to believe just how quick the past 7 weeks have gone! Everyone is deciding on their last rides - I have no idea about mine yet!

Let's hope for more of the same next week!

David.
