Fox lands the 2009/10 All Weather Hands & Heels Series
British Racing School (BRS) Graduate Kieren Fox has won the 2009/10 All Weather Hands & Heels Series.
Kieren was on course 193 at the BRS in March 2006 and has since been back to attain his Apprentice licence and participate in Apprentice continuation training. He rode in ten of the eleven races and finally secured the series win by finishing second on Michael Attwater's 'Prince Of Phebes' in the final. He rode three winners in total during the series.
It has been a really close and very competitive series this winter and Kieren was only leading David Kenny (who won last years series) by three points going into the final. David needed to win in the final race but sadly for him he was one of the first horses under pressure and could only finish tenth.
Kieren set out at the beginning of the series to win this and has been very professional in his approach throughout, and he deserves a lot of credit for the way that he has conducted himself during the series. The BRS looks forward to him having a crack at this summers Training Race Series and wish him the very best of luck.
