If you’ve had GCSE results day ringed on your calendar for months now, you’re no doubt one of the thousands who will be looking at what to do next.

The common choice is to take the standard route into college, but it’s worth exploring your other options before you plunge blindly ahead. It’s never too late to change your plans, whether you get the grades you wanted or not.

Perhaps you were planning to take A levels, but now feel you need a change from desk learning.

It may be that you feel college isn’t for you, or you’d prefer to go in a different direction.

Or you may want to start work straight away to gain experience that will lead you to a career.

The Level 2 Diploma Apprenticeship course at British Racing School is a great option after school. Over the fourteen weeks you will gain practical experience in a multi-million pound industry, learning about every aspect of Racehorse Care, from riding to stabling.

You’ll have access to multi-million pound state of the art training equipment, ride every day and care for two or three horses during your time.

We also teach vital life skills, and as the course is residential you’ll have an opportunity to put them in to practice straight away. Team building, diet and nutrition, budgeting and personal safety are just some of the skills we cover.

The course tuition and learning materials are completely free, and at the end of the fourteen weeks everyone who passes the course is guaranteed a full time, fully paid job where you will complete your Apprenticeship.

We will work with you to decide where in the country, and which trainer, will best suit your personal circumstances and ambitions.
