Training Days are run on a level based system. Levels I to 3 and Advanced Training Courses are available.
Level 1 is mandatory as it acts as an assessment day for Health and Safety reasons. On completion of this day each rider and pony combination are assessed and then invited to attend another training day at the level we feel is suitable.
To be exempt from the Level One Assessment you must be 12 years or older and already competed in a P2P or Racecourse Series race (Pony Club Races do not count).
Training Days across the 4 levels includes tuition on balance, style and technique, pace, control and awareness. Training takes place in the classroom, on the horse simulators and on your own ponies. Each session is videoed which is reviewed concluding each day.
You can qualify for the Charles Owen Series by passing the Level 3 training with us on the Pony that you wish the race in the series.
