New Horse Flies In…

8th Nov 2018 | News

OK, he didn’t actually fly in but today we have welcomed a new horse, namely Emirates Flyer.

The 7 year old bay gelding, owned by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, will join our other 79 retired ex-racehorses who are the backbone of the BRS and make it possible to train over 180 young people each year to pursue their dream of working in the racing industry.

Emirates Flyer will hopefully enjoy the slightly slower pace of life here although the cold winters might be a bit of a shock to him, he has spent the last 4 winters racing in Dubai, which included finishing 3rd to Toast of New York in the UAE Derby.

We are extremely grateful to the team at Godolphin for sending Emirates Flyer to us for his retirement from racing.
